Battlefield 5 won’t be developed by DICE

You read it right. Recently Michael Pachter, Analyst at Wedbush Securities has been informed by EA that their upcoming game in Battlefield installment will not be developed by DICE that has been set to release in FY 2015.
Pachter told Kotaku, “Although they have not yet announced a version of Battlefield for FY:15, they confirmed that our understanding is spot on and that if a version of Battlefield were to be released in FY:15, it would be developed by a studio other than DICE,” which pretty much conveys all that DICE won’t be developing the next Battlefield game.

DICE is now focused on fixing the issues reported by gamers in Battlefield 4 and development of future DLCs’ for the game. DICE might move on later developing Mirror’s Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront and not the next Battlefield game. This is totally a disappointing news for any Battlefield series lovers.
